Overview of the Spool Manager

The eVolve Electric Spool Manager is a powerful tool used to sort, group, and filter spools created by the eVolve Electrical software.

Modifications to the grid are remembered. To reset the default grid view, click the Reset Display button. Please refer to the Using grids in eVolve software link below.
Definitions of column headers
  • Condition – displays whether a spool is Defined or Spooled
    • Defined - elements are tagged as an assemble, but sheets have not yet been created
    • Spooled - elements are tagged as an assemble and sheets have been created
  • Spool Name – displays the name of the assemble(sheet number)
  • Level – displays the level associated with the spool
  • Phase – displays the phase associated with the spool
  • Pending Action – displays actions not yet applied
  • Area TypeId – User defined shared parameter, appears on grid by default
  • KitId – User defined shared parameter, appears on grid by default
  • LevelId – User defined shared parameter, found in the Column Chooser
  • CustomId – User defined shared parameter, found in the Column Chooser
  • EstimateId – User defined shared parameter, found in the Column Chooser
  • PhaseId – User defined shared parameter, found in the Column Chooser
To modify the user defined shared parameters, click the desired cell in the grid, enter appropriate value, and click Apply.
Actions on Checked menu
  • Generate Sheets - creates sheets for selected spools
