Connect Elements
Summary
The Connect Elements feature allows for elements to be quickly connected without having to switch between multiple views. After the connecting elements are defined, the connection is made while making all necessary adjustments downstream.
- eVolve tab ⮞ Quick Tools panel ⮞ Connect Elements button
Usage
- From the eVolve ribbon, in the Quick Tools panel, click Connect Elements.
- From the drawing area, select the desired mobile element.
NOTE: If the element has multiple open ends, a prompt is displayed; once the prompt is dismissed, select the end required to connect.
- From the drawing area, select the stationary element's connecting end. The mobile element and all connected elements are moved and, if necessary, rotated and the selected ends are connected.
