Installer File Locations
The following file locations contain templates, families, shared parameter files, and more to help get up and running with eVolve Electrical.
Project template, family templates, and Shared Parameter files:
C:\Program Files\eVolve\eVolve Electrical for Revit 20xx\Resources
- eE_Project_Template.rte
- eE_Family_Template.rfa - conduit fitting based template
- eE_Family_Template_FB.rfa - faced based template
- ShareParmeterDefinitions_Instance.txt
- This file defines which instance parameters are loaded into new project files. This file should not be modified or moved.
- ShareParmeterDefinitions_Type.txt
- This file defines which type parameters are loaded into new project files. This file should not be modified or moved.
- SharedParameterDefinitions.txt
- This file contains all shared parameters that are used throughout the EVOLVE families. This file should not be modified or moved, but is can be accessed if EVOLVE shared parameters need to be added to tags, families, projects, etc.
The project template contains some helpful features including, legends for conduit bends, predefined schedules, dimension style, text styles, and more. From the Project Browser, review Legends\ --- Template Features --- for more information.
